Lee Brimelow is the man behind this great video tutorial on the use of the Flash format in the world of video production. In this tutorial Brimelow shows you how to integrate MySQL database content into your Flash movies. This data integration is accomplished by using PHP to transform the database content into XML before importing into Flash.
Before You Begin
It's important to note that to fully utilize this tutorial you should have the following:
* Flash Plugin - To view the vido Lecture, you must have the Flash Plugin installed on your computer. Ninety percent of computers have it. If you don't, click here to get it free.
* Text Editor - I recommend Notepad ++. It's the text editor used in this tutorial and one of the best editors available. If you don't have it, click here to get it free.
* Web Host Account - You should have access to a web server in which you can access phpMyAdmin and have the ability to FTP files to the server.
* Flash Professional - Flash Professional (or a comparable program that allows you to create Flash videos) should be installed on your computer.
