Accounting is the language of business. It is how a business "keeps score." It tells whether a business is profitable or not. In terms of a formal definition, it's the art of recording, classifying, and summarizing the financial events of a business. This self-paced training program is designed to provide an overview of accounting. The course is easy to follow and the subject matter is indexed for quick reference and easy access. The course includes 47-part video lecture.

The objectives of this course are to define and describe accounting, explain the importance of accounting principles, and to provide detailed explanations about different types of accounting scorecards or financial statements.
