Contemporary Art Museum focusing on the work of African descent and African-American culture. The museum is an art museum dedicated to its collection, documentation, preservation, and interpretation of African-American art and the African Diaspora.

Guided tours (by appointment) workshops, readings, concerts, lectures, symposia, seminars, museum/school cooperative program, community out-reach lectures, research, documentation, films, membership programs.

Available at the Municipal Garage at 126th Street between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd.

Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Museum is closed Monday, Tuesday and Major Holidays.

Please note the above scheduled opening hours are also valid for the museum store.
