The Hamilton Heights Homeowners Association was founded in 1980 by a group of concerned residents committed to improving the Hamilton Heights community. Its members are home, cooperative and condominium owners in the area between 135th and 155th Streets and Riverside Drive and Edgecombe Avenue. Its purposes include providing property owners with useful information about the neighborhood and home ownership issues and working together to solve community problems. The Homeowners Association was incorporated in 1984 and granted exemption from federal income tax under section 501(3) of the Internal Revenue Code in 1987.
We meet on the third Saturday of each month (except July and August) at the Hamilton Grange Library, 503 West 145th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am/Noon. Refreshments are served. Topics include home improvement, neighborhood beautification, public services and security and other community issues.
